Abstract

El empowerment es una herramienta clave que otorga autonomía a los colaboradores para gestionar su trabajo con calidad y productividad, requiriendo el compromiso de los directivos para brindar herramientas, motivación y retroalimentación. En el contexto del servicio público, su aplicación es crucial para mejorar la atención ciudadana, cuya calidad suele ser deficiente. En el Perú, específicamente en la Municipalidad Provincial de Sullana (2021), se identifica una baja autonomía del personal y procesos obsoletos que afectan su rendimiento. La investigación planteada busca determinar si existe una relación significativa entre el empowerment y la motivación laboral en dicha institución, con el objetivo de mejorar el desempeño organizacional y, en consecuencia, el bienestar social. Se plantean hipótesis que vinculan positivamente la delegación, el liderazgo y la responsabilidad con la motivación laboral.
