Abstract

El Costeo Basado en Actividades (ABC) es un método de asignación de costos que se centra en las actividades realizadas dentro de una organización, proporcionando una visión detallada y precisa de los costos asociados a cada producto. A diferencia del costeo tradicional, que distribuye costos de manera uniforme, el ABC permite identificar actividades específicas que generan costos y asignar recursos en función del consumo real. Este enfoque es crucial en la industria alimentaria, ya que facilita la toma de decisiones informadas sobre precios y rentabilidad. En el caso de Marina-Trading S.A., la implementación del ABC optimiza la gestión de costos, identificando áreas de mejora y permitiendo un análisis más exhaustivo de la rentabilidad de productos, lo que resulta en una mejor eficiencia operativa y una mayor capacidad de respuesta a las fluctuaciones del mercado.
