Análise de estudos longitudinais com jovens jogadores de futebol do sexo masculino: uma revisão sistemática

Abstract

Objetivo: Analisar as características de estudos longitudinais com jovens jogadores de futebol do sexo masculino (13-17 anos), com foco no desempenho físico e na incidência de lesões. Método: A busca em seis bases de dados (PubMed, SPORTDiscus, Web of Science, Scopus, BVS e SciELO) resultou em 994 artigos; 34 atenderam aos critérios de elegibilidade e foram agrupados em quatro áreas: aspectos comportamentais e motivacionais (5), lesão (10), doença em jovens atletas (2) e desempenho físico (13). Resultados: Os estudos analisaram principalmente variáveis físicas ligadas ao desempenho e às lesões. Os testes mais frequentes foram sprint de 10, 20 e 30 m, 30-15 IFT, Yo-Yo IR1 e avaliações de potência muscular, como Drop Jump (DJ) e Counter-Movement Jump (CMJ). Medidas antropométricas, como IMC e percentual de gordura, também foram comuns. Em relação às lesões, a maioria resultou em afastamentos inferiores a 7 dias, com destaque para lesões musculares e traumas na coxa. As taxas variaram conforme idade e categoria, sendo maiores em jogos do que em treinos. Conclusão: Os estudos reforçam a importância do monitoramento contínuo do desempenho físico e das lesões em jovens atletas de futebol.
