Abstract

L’enseignement bilingue est un type d’enseignement particulier privilegiant l’enseignement/apprentissage des matieres scolaires dites non linguistiques (sciences naturelles et humaines) dans une langue etrangere. L’enseignement bilingue francophone se developpe dans le monde entier afin de favoriser le developpement du plurilinguisme et du pluriculturalisme. Aujourd’hui en Europe, il y a plus de 400 sections bilingues avec 60 000 eleves. En Serbie, on trouve des sections bilingues francophones a Belgrade, Novi Sad, Valjevo, Nis et Pirot. Vu que dans le cadre de l’enseignement bilingue certaines disciplines non linguistiques (DNL) sont enseignees en francais, il est clair que le role du professeur de DNL y est primordial. Celui-ci doit etre non seulement specialiste de la discipline qu’il enseigne mais aussi forme en langue dans laquelle il l’enseigne voire le francais. Dans notre contribution, nous presentons les caracteristiques principales de ce dispositif educatif et nous donnons un apercu general de l’enseignement bilingue francophone en Serbie. Puis, nous traitons plus en detail des competences linguistiques des enseignants de DNL de la section bilingue francophone de Nis. Etant donne l’importance de la maitrise du francais pour les enseignants en question, nous analyserons leurs points de vue sur leur propre niveau de langue, leur perfectionnement linguistique ainsi que sur la place et la fonction de la langue francaise dans l’enseignement bilingue, etc. L’objectif de cet article est de souligner l’importance de l’enseignement bilingue ainsi que la necessite de former en francais les professeurs de DNL en fonction de leurs besoins et des specificites des disciplines qu’ils enseignent.
