Abstract

Las instituciones educativas a partir del establecimiento de la cuarentena estricta con la finalidad de evitar la propagación de la enfermedad COVID-19 debieron decidir cómo garantizar la continuidad en el ciclo lectivo en los diferentes niveles. En este contexto, diseñamos un estudio destinado a conocer las posibles relaciones entre salud mental del cuerpo docente e implementación de recursos tecnológicos digitales como único medio de comunicación para la enseñanza. La investigación fue descriptiva, se realizó desde un enfoque cualitativo y contó con una muestra de 100 docentes de diferentes niveles educativos predominantemente de la Provincia de Santa Fe. En una primera instancia, se aplicó un cuestionario con preguntas abiertas y cerradas y, luego, en un segundo momento, se seleccionaron dos grupos de docentes, uno de entre cuatro y otro de seis participantes, para la realización de grupos focales. Los resultados obtenidos arrojaron que un gran número de docentes sintió incertidumbre y ansiedad, ante el uso de la tecnología por considerar que tenían escasa experiencia en el uso de TIC en educación, generándose problemas emocionales que incidieron en su rendimiento tanto laboral como personal. Sin embargo, también consideraron esta una oportunidad de crecimiento y de deconstrucción de un modelo tradicional con características enciclopedistas vigente en el ámbito educativo.
