Las víctimas visibles del delito en Uruguay: entre los homicidios reconocidos y los delitos contra la propiedad

Abstract

El presente artículo estudia a las víctimas del delito más visibles y reconocidas en el proceso uruguayo reciente. Sobre la base de definir un criterio de clasificación de las víctimas a partir de una “escala de visibildad”, se reconstruyen las situaciones y representaciones de las víctimas indirectas de homicidios y de comerciantes y vecinos afectados por delitos contra la propiedad. Se exploran algunas dimensiones relevantes (identidad, trauma, gestión emocional y material, demandas, etc.) para cada categoría de víctimas con la intención de comprender cómo las posiciones, las disposiciones y experiencias conforman una “economía moral” de las victimas que las proyecta en un espacio de visibilidad y reconocimiento, al tiempo que refleja asuntos más generales sobre las tensiones y fracturas de un orden social.
