Abstract

El proyecto “Arte en Riesgo: Humanidades Ambientales y Ciencias Sociales exploran y expresan la vida en riesgo desde el arte” indaga de manera transdisciplinar, un territorio designado como “Zona de riesgo” desde la perspectiva poshumana. El proyecto es ejecutado por los miembros de la Red de Investigación en Humanidades Ambientales de la Universidad Católica de Chile (RIHA). Dicha exploración busca la recuperación y resignificación de objetos encontrados en una zona de riesgo, inicialmente imaginada como un vertedero de basura, para su articulación en una instalación en el espacio designado para exhibiciones de arte. El proyecto contempló cinco talleres interdisciplinarios con voluntarios de RIHA, y reuniones semanales durante 10 meses con el núcleo ejecutor. La intención de la exploración fue un juego con el concepto de la creación de mundos posibles, cuestionando concepciones sobre los desechos y su contexto más allá de la racionalidad característica de la academia y el humanismo.
