Abstract

Der Band versammelt Beiträge, die sich mit dem Leben, dem Engagement, dem Werk und dem Wirken des Fachdidaktikers Frank Nonnenmacher auseinandersetzen. In seinem Werk und Wirken in der politischen Bildung steht dieser dafür, dass Lehrpersonen selbst Überzeugungen entwickeln, sich einmischen und Flagge zeigen. Nonnenmacher wendet sich dadurch direkt und radikal gegen die Forderung nach Neutralität in der politischen Bildung, die aktuell wieder an Bedeutung zu gewinnen scheint. Die Beiträge fokussieren sowohl biographisch-historische Fragen, als auch konzeptionelle, theoretische und bildungspraktische Aspekte politischer Didaktik.
