Tur Bisikletiçileri İçin Fonksiyonel Yelek Kavramsal Tasarım Süreci

Abstract

Günümüzde değişen kullanıcı ihtiyaçlarına ve teknolojik gelişmelere göre farklı yöntem ve teknik içeren pek çok tasarım yaklaşımının geliştirildiği gözlenmektedir. Bir tasarım problemine özgü fonksiyonel ihtiyaçları karşılayacak farklı çözüm kavramları oluşturma ve seçmeyi içeren sistematik tasarımın ilk basamağını oluşturan kavramsal tasarım gündemde olan yaklaşımlardan biridir. Teknik bilgi, kavram ve metodolojisi ile tasarımın mantıksal bir sistem olduğu dikkate alındığında; bu sistemin incelenmesi ve anlaşılmasının yaratma eyleminin başarısını artıracağı ve bu yaklaşımla tur bisikleti sürücülerinin yaygın olarak kullandığı, fonksiyonelliği ön planda olan yelek tasarımlarında beklentilerin karşılanabileceği öngörülmüştür. Çalışmada, optimum düzeyde kalite, zaman tasarrufu ve amaca yönelik nitelikli ürün oluşturmada kavramsal tasarım yaklaşımın etkisini ortaya koymaya yönelik tur bisikleti kullanıcıları için fonksiyonel bir yelek tasarlanması amaçlanmıştır. Fonksiyonel yelek tasarımı sürecinde; Pahl ve Beitz’in (1996), sistematik tasarım yaklaşımlarının ana safhalarından biri olarak tanımladığı, bilgi, tanım, yaratma, değerlendirme, kontrol ve karar evreleri ve alt aşamalarından oluşan kavramsal tasarım süreci uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda kavramsal tasarım yaklaşımının daha sistemli, kolay, etkin ve en iyi tasarım çözümleri geliştirilebildiği, bir ürünün tüm özelliklerinin belirlenmesini sağladığı, özellikle fonksiyonellik öncelikli giysilerde moda trendleri ile işlevselliğin kombinasyonu sağlanarak, güncel ve özgün yelek tasarımlarının oluşturulabileceği görülmüştür.

Nowadays, many designs which have different processes and techniques have been developed according to varius customer needs and technological improvements. Conceptual design which first step of systematic design, includes creating and selecting different solutions to meet the functional needs, is one of the recent approach. Considering that design is a logical system with its technical knowledge, concept and methodology; it has been foresee that the investigation and understanding of this system will increase success of the creation and expectations will be reached for vest designs which have important functionality for generally used by tour cyclist. Aim of this study is to design a functional vest for tour cyclist to show impact of conceptual design approach while creating optimum level of quality, saving time and produce purposive product. During design functional vest period, it has been applied conceptual design process, which is defined as one of the main phases of systematic design approaches by Pahl and Beitz (1996) and contain information, definition, creation, evaluation, control and decision steps. As a result of this study, it has been observed that conceptual design approach can improve outcomes with more systematic, effortless, effective and better designs, it enables to define whole properities of the product, the combination of fashion trends and functionality can be achieved on especially for functionality priority garments and it is possible to create timely and unique designs.
