Abstract

Para otimizar o emprego da mao de obra especializada e dos recursos financeiros, fisicos e materiais do laboratorio, sistemas automatizados de fermentacao in vitro foram desenvolvidos, permitindo processar maior numero de amostras em relacao ao metodo de dois estagios realizado em tubos individuais, tradicionalmente adotado na determinacao da digestibilidade in vitro . Diferentes resultados foram relatados para o efeito da dieta basal dos animais doadores de liquido ruminal sobre a digestibilidade in vitro . Foi objetivo deste experimento avaliar o efeito da dieta basal do animal doador de liquido ruminal sobre a digestibilidade in vitro da materia seca (DIVMS) de volumosos, determinada apos 48 h de incubacao, em equipamento de fermentacao automatizado. Foram utilizados liquidos ruminais coletados de animal consumindo silagem de milho ou de animal manejado sob pastejo. Utilizou-se delineamento inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 2 × 4 (tipos de inoculo × tipos de alimentos). Nao houve diferenca significativa (p > 0,05) nos valores de DIVMS determinados utilizando-se os dois tipos de inoculos.
