Produção de amônia no interior de galpões avícolas com modificações ambientais

Abstract

A ventilacao nos galpoes avicolas controla a concentracao de amonia no interior, pois e responsavel por remover o excesso de calor e de umidade e reduzir poeira e gases, proporcionando melhoria na ambientacao dos animais. Objetivou-se mensurar a producao de amonia no interior de galpoes avicolas em funcao da utilizacao de equipamentos de climatizacao em Belem, Estado do Para. Os galpoes experimentais foram classificados em alta tecnologia (AT), media tecnologia (MT) e baixa tecnologia (BT), de acordo com a disponibilidade de exaustores, ventiladores ou nenhum equipamento para controle do ambiente, respectivamente. Os dados foram registrados semanalmente, a partir do alojamento, sempre no mesmo local do galpao, ate os 42 dias de idade dos animais. A concentracao de amonia nos tratamentos, aos 42 dias, diferenciou entre os tratamentos (P<0,05). O tratamento AT apresentou o valor de 24ppm, superior ao limite de 20ppm que e considerado prejudicial a saude das aves. O desempenho dos animais nao foi afetado pelos tratamentos (P<0,05). Concluimos que o teor de gas amonia produzido variou de acordo com o grau de tecnificacao dos galpoes de criacao de frangos de corte, sendo mais concentrado em sistema tunel de pressao negativa, provavelmente exacerbado pela elevada densidade de alojamento. Embora a producao de carne por metro quadrado no sistema tunel tenha sido maior do que nos demais sistemas de producao, recomenda-se a reducao da densidade, dentro das recomendacoes de bem-estar na producao de frangos de corte.
