Processo foto-Fenton solar no tratamento de lixiviados

Abstract

O tratamento de lixiviados de aterros sanitários é considerado um dos maiores desafios em termos de poluição das águas e gestão dos resíduos sólidos. Pesquisadores buscam aprimorar processos convencionais e otimizar novas tecnologias de tratamento. Nesse contexto, os processos fotocatalíticos solares são capazes de aproveitar a elevada incidência da radiação solar e potencializar os processos de despoluição ambiental; entre eles, o processo foto-Fenton destaca-se pela eficiência na redução de carga orgânica recalcitrante. O presente estudo objetivou a identificação das variáveis que influenciam a reação, da relação entre elas e da maneira como influenciam o processo foto-Fenton solar. Realizou-se uma revisão das variáveis pH, concentração e razão dos reagentes, temperatura, intensidade de radiação solar e tempo de reação, sendo etapa decisiva para a otimização do processo e eficiência do tratamento.
