Reaproveitamento de Calor na Indústria Cerâmica

Abstract

Resumo: Este estudo foca a importância da melhoria da eficiencia energetica como aspecto economico, principalmente na industria cerâmica que possui alto consumo energetico. Foi demonstrado um projeto de reaproveitamento de calor de um forno para um atomizador, evidenciando a economia de combustivel e sua viabilidade economica. Foram realizados balancos massicos e energeticos vinculados aos fenomenos de transferencia de calor para quantificar e localizar a energia utilizada em cada componente do sistema e as perdas por dispersao termica. Apos a implementacao do sistema de reaproveitamento de ar quente, foi constatado uma economia no consumo especifico de 21%, o que representa uma reducao de custos de R$ 65.205,00 por mes. Como o custo do projeto foi de R$ 240.000,00, o tempo de retorno sera de aproximadamente 3,7 meses.
