Suppression of Tinnitus by Electrical Promontory Stimulation.

Abstract

我々は岬角電気刺激により耳鳴を抑制することを試みた。 対象は59例, 62耳であり, 男性34名, 女性25名で, 聴力レベルは, 軽度感音性難聴より聾型までを含む。 岬角電気刺激装置としてはコクレア社製promontory stimulatorを用い, 刺激波として2相性のパルスバーストを用いた。 耳鳴の抑制率は, 原因不明の感音性難聴76.9%, 突発性難聴85.7%, 耳毒性薬物, 騒音などの原因による内耳性難聴80.0%, メニエール病83.3%, 中耳炎などの原因による内耳炎71.4%, 聴神経腫瘍8.3%, 平均66.1%であった。 以上より, 内耳性の耳鳴には抑制率が高く, 後迷路性のものについては低い結果となり, 耳鳴の病巣部位の推定に岬角電気刺激検査が有用であると思われた。
