<div class="htmlview paragraph">We have recently developed two automatic control techniques for a new head-feeding combine series.</div> <div class="htmlview paragraph">The two new techniques are 1) a grain cleaning control which utilizes the ground speed and the engine load as an indicator of actual feed rate 2) a leveling control which corrects lateral tilting of the machine body. These improvements enable the combine to perform effectively in a wide range of grain fields and wet rice paddies.</div>
