<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper gives the research and experimental results on the effect of various spraying technological parameters on the properties, the micro structure of the plasma sprayed coatings of D<sub>9</sub> (coated), S<sub>7</sub> (sintered) and stellundum 52F tungsten carbide-cobalt powders. Metallographic and X-ray diffraction analysis were made to evaluate the structure of the coatings. Microhardness and bonding strength was also made among D<sub>9</sub>, S<sub>7</sub> and 52F coatings. Decarbonization of the tungsten carbide-cobalt powder and the approaches of improving the quality of the coatings were also discussed.</div>
