Cumulative Damage Analysis

Abstract

<div class="htmlview paragraph">Methods to predict fatigue life using cumulative damage analysis are presented. Input data, fatigue properties and service history are defined for five basic analysis types. Four different cycle counting procedures used to analyze complex variable amplitude service histories are illustrated.</div>
