<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper gives a brief history of the development of one small primary structural component. It is descriptive of the pattern of thinking with regard to methods and procedures for the development of high quality plastics components.</div> <div class="htmlview paragraph">The significance of the technical findings are discussed in reference to the future of plastics primary structures, with special attention to high-speed high-temperature applications.</div>
