El doblaje cinematográfico: factores de eficacia desde la recepción

Abstract

La globalización del mercado audiovisual ha provocado que la transferencia lingüística en sus productos sea cada vez mayor. En géneros de ficción, esta transferencia se produce mediante dos métodos mayoritarios: la subtitulación y el doblaje. Mientras el primero históricamente se instaló en los países europeos cuya lengua conseguía un mercado audiovisual más reducido, el doblaje lo hizo principalmente en aquellos países cuya lengua alcanzaba mercados más amplios. Estas tendencias históricas han motivado que las audiencias respectivas sigan prefiriendo reiteradamente uno u otro procedimiento, de manera que incluso la reciente proliferación de transferencia lingüística a las lenguas europeas más minoritarias se practica como subtitulación o como doblaje, dependiendo de la respectiva tradición.
