Troubleshooters have been widely used in the industrial world. However, they do not provide detailed verification to find the final cause of a failure. This paper presents a method for generating Web-page based troubleshooters that deal with troubles about computer system administration and networks. The generated troubleshooter provides a manual diagnosis and an automated diagnosis for users. The automated diagnosis provides not only the cause of the trouble but also a solution to fix it. In addition, administrators' knowledge and experience for troubleshooting can be easily embedded into this generator by using command tags.
