The telencephalon was studied in three species of Insectivora: Sorex araneus, Neomys fodiens and Talpa europaea. The material was fixed in formalin, dehydrated in ethyl alcohol, embedded in paraffin and cut into transverse sections 15 µm thick. The sections were stained by the methods of Nissl and Kluver and Barrera.
