A description is given of the topography, formation and cell structure of nucleus olivaris inferior in the European bison. The studies were carried out on the medullae oblongatae of four bison from the Bialowieza Primeval Forest. The medulla oblongata was cut into crosssections 15 μm thick which were stained by the Nissl, and Kluver and Barrera methods.
