Opisano roznorodne anomalie uzebienia u lisa Vulpes vulpes (Linnaeus, 1758), pieśca Alopex lagopus (Linnaeus, 1758) i Urocyon cinereoargenteus Erxleben, 1777 (Rys. 1-7, Tabela 1). Do najciekawszych anomalii zaliczyc nalezy dodatkowy ząb obok Pm4, co określa sie jako ceche atawistyczną.
