As part of a reconnaissance sub-bottom acoustic profiling (SAP) survey, eleven SAP were collected from Lac Macamic, Quebec, on July 21, 2014. Good penetration of the sub-bottom was obtained in both of the profiled bays. Three facies can be identified within the SAP returns that represent lacustrine, glaciolacustrine and mass movement deposits. The profiles collected from Lac Macamic demonstrate the presence of mass movement deposits within this basin.
