Stations are shown on the map as being AM, FM or short-wave, and as English, French or bilingual. Locations with more than one station are marked with the number of stations. The area of usual daytime coverage by AM broadcasting stations or low relay transmitters is also shown. A text accompanies this first map showing place name, call letters and bands of radio stations. The second map shows locations of television broadcasting and rebroadcasting stations and whether the programming is English, French or bilingual as of December 1967. The areas where television signals could be received with a simple outdoor antenna is also indicated. A text accompanies this last map showing place name, call letters and broadcast channels of television broadcasting and rebroadcasting stations.
