Frost heave calculations using the Segregation Potential (SP) model and the Incremental Ice Segregation (DISR) model are compared ta the observed frost heave data from chilled pipeline sections at the Calgary Frost Heave Test Facility. Madel calculations are performed with the measured temperature gradients and measured frost depths for a range of SP values (detennined by laboratory tests) and a range of DISR parameters. Frost heave calculations combining the SP model with thermal gradients and frost bulb depths detennined by thermal simulation models are also presented.
