Abstract

A relação médico-paciente é composta pelo equilíbrio entre recomendações médicas, anseios do paciente e comunicação eficaz. Muitas questões permanecem sobre como equilibrar preferências do paciente com a tomada de decisão médica, tanto na assistência à saúde como em políticas públicas. O desafio consiste em abordar quantitativamente um assunto tratado majoritariamente de forma subjetiva.
