Herdabilidade e correlações em plantas F2 de soja cultivadas em diferentes condições ambientais

Abstract

Dois experimentos foram montados em Viçosa-MG, objetivando estimar as herdabilidades no sentido amplo e as correlações de alguns caracteres de interesse agronômico em plantas F2 de soja, oriundas do cruzamento entre uma linhagem TN (triplo nula - lipoxigenases ausentes) e o cultivar IAC-12. As maiores herdabilidades foram observadas para os caracteres relacionados com o crescimento vegetativo e o peso das sementes por planta, indicando que estes foram menos sensíveis aos ambientes e, portanto, de mais fácil seleção, a partir das primeiras gerações segregantes. O número de vagens e o número de sementes por planta apresentaram baixos coeficientes de herdabilidade, o que diminuiu a eficiência de sua seleção com base no indivíduo. Correlações genotípicas positivas e elevadas foram observadas entre todos os pares de caracteres avaliados no campo, com os ganhos indiretos sendo favorecidos pela seleção de caracteres de alta herdabilidade. Algumas correlações genotípicas, estimadas na casa de vegetação, foram de baixas magnitudes
