Abstract

Notre analyse se propose de mettre en lumière quelques nuances particulières dont la tradition troubadouresque s’est enrichie aux XIIe-XIIIe siècles, lorsque bon nombre de trouvères se sont plu à broder leurs vers autour des topoï rattachés à la fin’amor, voire à emprunter directement à l’auctoritas occitane. Les références explicites à certains troubadours en vogue, aussi bien que les citations insérées dans des récits plus amples tel que le Roman de Guillaume de Dole témoignent de ce phénomène. Notre attention sera focalisée sur les réverbérations de la création de Jaufre Rudel dans le Nord, notamment sur les réverbérations du topos de l’amor de lonh. Il s’agit, à notre sens, d’une authentique mise en abyme dans le Roman de Guillaume de Dole, vu les multiples reflets que se renvoient les vers de Rudel, essentiellement rattachés à l’impératif de la remembrance, et à la trame narrative, même si l’insertion de la cobla occitane s’accompagne, en outre, d’une mise en cause du canon et, finalement, de mutations notables dans ce schéma de l’imaginaire.
