Esta pesquisa foi realizada entre agosto de 2005 e agosto de 2006, financiada pelo CNPq e pela UFJF - com uma bolsa de Iniciacao Cientifica -,utilizando como metodologias a observacao participante e entrevistas de profundidade para conhecer melhor a comunidade muculmana em Juiz de Fora.
