This article proposes a non-exhaustive panorama of the experiences of observation made by Africans or ethnologists, Asian or Latin Americans in Europe, by trying to draw some lines of reflection on their conditions of emergence as on the fundamental asymmetry which characterizes them when put in comparison with the experiences of European anthropologists in the formerly colonized societies or in margin of Europe.
