Abstract

Depuis une quinzaine d’années, le paysage culturel français s’enrichit de nouveaux festivals de proximité. Ceux-ci partagent un même désir : accélérer la décentralisation en sortant des salles de spectacle. Bien souvent, ils se rassemblent autour d’une même terminologie : l’in situ. Mais comment exploiter au mieux les spécificités politiques et géographiques d’un territoire ? Faut-il adapter les lieux « non dédiés » ? À eux trois, le Lyncéus Festival, Un Festival à Villerville et Les Effusions démontrent la variété des approches architecturales mises en œuvre par les nouveaux festivals in situ.
