Abstract

La Olla podrida a la española (Anvers [=Amsterdam]: Felipe Van Eyck, 1655) de Marcos Fernández est un mélange on ne peut plus baroque, un exemple parfait de satire ménipéenne, selon la définition de Julia Kristeva (1969 : 103-107), de par sa configuration carnavalesque (polyphonie textuelle), l’alternance de vers et de prose, le passage du sérieux au comique, la liberté thématique ou la critique de l’actualité et de la pensée officielle.C’est pourquoi il est particulièrement intéressant d’étudier ici la polyphonie textuelle à travers les différents types de discours rapporté (nous suivrons en cela Alconchel 1985, 2000, 2008), à un moment où la faible généralisation des guillemets (qui ne sont pas employés dans ce texte), ainsi que la fréquente suppression du que complétif, contribuent à ébaucher la différence entre discours direct et indirect, en proposant différents mélanges et états intermédiaires (discours mixte et indirect libre), ou rendent leur approche plus difficile si l’on travaille à partir de l’original, comme c’est le cas ici, en ayant recours à la typographie commune pour signaler discours direct et indirect (virgule, point, point-virgule).
