Les enjeux du financement de la recherche en sociologie de l’alimentation

Abstract

Le texte retrace les défis d’un parcours doctoral dans le cadre d’un partenariat public-privé avec un dispositif CIFRE (Convention Industrielle de Formation par la Recherche) émanant du ministère français de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche. Il appréhende les enjeux de la production de connaissances répondant à des exigences académiques et professionnelles. La position de doctorant dans un laboratoire de recherche se double du statut de salarié d’une entreprise pendant la durée de la thèse. Cette spécificité du parcours doctoral se traduit par le fait de produire une « bonne » recherche pour l’entreprise qui satisfasse les critères d’exigence académique. La nature de cette collaboration conduit le doctorant à adopter un regard réflexif, non pas introspectif mais critique et distancé sur son travail en raison des risques d’adopter une triple loyauté à l’égard du milieu académique, du milieu professionnel et de la société. L’article suggère également d’inscrire la réflexion sur les enjeux et les contraintes du financement de la recherche en sciences humaines et sociales sur l’alimentation comme étant une étape nouvelle dans le processus de thématisation de l’alimentation dans les sciences sociales. Finalement en reposant sur un témoignage, cette perspective ouvre la discussion sur les effets de la thématisation sociale et scientifique sur le travail du chercheur au cours du parcours doctoral qui comporte de nombreux enjeux.
