Abstract

Cet article explore l’utilisation des échelles de mesure dans les sciences de l’information et de la communication, en s’appuyant sur le paradigme méthodologique de Churchill. Notre analyse a pris le concept de l’e-réputation des entreprises sur les réseaux sociaux numériques comme un exemple illustratif. Le but est de montrer comment ces échelles permettent d’objectiver des concepts complexes tout en intégrant des dimensions qualitatives. Cette approche répond aux spécificités des SIC, où l’interdisciplinarité exige une adaptation théorique et méthodologique. Enfin, les enjeux critiques liés à la standardisation et aux limites des corrélations statistiques sont discutés, mettant en lumière la nécessité d’une posture réflexive.
