Abstract

Une tournée de prospection effectuée en 2018 dans les environs de Kalaat Senane, à proximité de la « Table de Jugurtha », a permis de repérer à Henchir Fortnat, site archéologique identifié depuis longtemps comme étant le centre d’un domaine privé propriété du sénateur C. Iunius Faustinus Placidus Postumianus, une épitaphe bilingue inédite rédigée en grec et en latin, mise au jour par une fouille clandestine pratiquée au nord du site.
