Revisión de datos de intensidad pluviométrica en España para el dimensionado de redes de saneamiento y equipos de bombeo

Abstract

La intensidad pluviométrica representa hoy, en países como España, un importante factor de incertidumbre con incidencia en diferentes ámbitos del hábitat, incluyendo el entorno edificado. La normativa ha venido utilizando mapas de curvas isoyetas trazadas a partir de datos de acumulación de precipitaciones en estaciones meteorológicas. Diferentes factores, entre los que parece encontrarse el cambio climático, vienen arrojando, en los últimos años, datos que invitan a una cierta preocupación. Nos enfrentamos, por un lado, a largos periodos de sequía y, por otro, a valores máximos que superan los esperados. Este trabajo analiza los datos de la Agencia Española de Meteorología hasta nuestros días, cuantifica los valores de pluviometría para diferentes periodos de retorno y los compara con los exigibles en la sección HS-5 del Código Técnico de la Edificación. Establece también un método de cálculo para los sistemas de bombeo de aguas pluviales.
