Abnormal Head Posture in a Patient With Normal Ocular Motility: Sandifer Syndrome

Abstract

The authors describe an unusual presentation of abnormal head posture in a 5-year-old boy. Sandifer syndrome is associated with torticollis and gastroesopheageal reflux. Treating physicians should be aware of non-ocular causes of abnormal head posture in the absence of ocular manifestations. J Pediatr Ophthalmol Strabismus 2008;45:57–58.
