Estudio de la adherencia de barras NSM FRP como refuerzo de estructuras de hormigón

Abstract

Para la aplicacion de los materiales FRP ( Fibre Reinforced Polymer ) como refuerzo estructural del hormigon, se han empleado basicamente dos tecnicas: el refuerzo con materiales compuestos adheridos externamente, y mas recientemente el refuerzo mediante materiales insertados en el recubrimiento ( Near-Surface Mounted o NSM ). El comportamiento de la union depende de la adherencia entre los componentes y la respuesta se ve afectada por diversos parametros relacionados con las propiedades de los materiales. En este capitulo se presentan los resultados de un estudio experimental del comportamiento adherente del sistema de refuerzo NSM FRP aplicado a estructuras de hormigon. En el estudio realizado se ha analizado la influencia de factores como el tipo de adhesivo, el tipo de FRP , el tamano de barra y la longitud de adherencia. Los resultados se presentan en terminos del modo de fallo, carga de rotura y factor de eficiencia. El estudio muestra una influencia significativa de los parametros indicados y de la combinacion de los mismos.
