Cet article présente les tentatives de rapprochement du commissaire au plan espagnol Laureano López Rodó avec son homologue français Pierre Massé, entre la fin des années 1950 et le milieu des années 1960. À travers ce cas précis, l’article participe à mieux cerner les enjeux économiques, culturels et techniques de la planification dans son contexte européen. L’émergence d’un internationalisme technocratique participe à écrire une autre histoire de la construction européenne, gommant ainsi la séparation entre l’Europe de l’Ouest démocratique et l’Europe du Sud dictatoriale.
