Abstract

Le partage entre sein nourricier et sein érotique est omniprésent et se lit à travers de multiples représentations culturelles. Mais ce conflit traditionnel ne vient-il pas recouvrir d’autres valences fantasmatiques du sein ? La clinique de la mastectomie repose la question de l’angoisse de castration chez la femme, mais permet aussi de repérer l’émergence d’autres angoisses, plus archaïques, qu’elle permet peut-être, dans les meilleurs des cas, de contenir et de symboliser.
