Abstract

Résumé La psychanalyse est étroitement liée au bilinguisme par les conditions de sa découverte: le cas d’Anna O., Freud polyglotte, la bourgeoisie viennoise bilingue, la notion d’inconscient comme langage censuré, le contenu manifeste et le contenu latent, l’interprétation, etc. L’auteur décrit les particularités des analyses ou psychothérapies avec des patients bilingues en démontrant l’influence sur le transfert, l’interprétation et le cadre analytique. Les fonctionnements névrotiques et psychotiques chez les patients bilingues sont illustrés à l’exemple de deux vignettes personnelles. Tandis que le premier cas joue avec les langues tout en se jouant de l’analyste, le deuxième fonctionnement soustrait carrément une langue en la reproduisant de manière hallucinatoire sans pour autant la reconnaître. L’étude du bilinguisme dans la psychanalyse permettra une meilleure connaissance des conditions du langage méconnues notamment dans les formes mutiques des affections psychopathologiques comme celles de l’autisme.
