Abstract

Les océans se vident-ils de leurs poissons ? Pourquoi trouve-t-on autant de poissons sur les étals de nos poissonneries, alors que l’on prétend que les mers se dépeuplent ? Pourquoi les pêcheurs prétendent-ils qu’il y a toujours autant de poissons ? L’aquaculture va-t-elle remplacer la pêche, qui est devenue un modèle d’exploitation trop aléatoire ? À l’heure où de nombreux problèmes d’exploitation des ressources halieutiques se posent, dans un contexte de sécurité alimentaire de plus en plus tendu, il convient de mieux comprendre le futur de la pêche en mer et de trouver de nouvelles solutions.
