Abstract

À la lumière de l’expérience historique du marronnage, des fuites et résistances créatrices des afro descendants dans les Amériques et les îles de l’Océan indien (Réunion, Maurice, etc.), ce texte tente de dégager les enjeux et les différentes dimensions de l’image-concept du « lyannaj » – une expression issue, à l’origine, du créole des Antilles françaises et du vocabulaire du travail esclave. Le modèle végétal de la liane apparaît ainsi comme une des matrices des cosmopolitiques amérindiennes et marronnes.
