Abstract

Résumé Composé tel un dialogue diderotien, cet article tente une situation de la pensée politique, demandant, d’une part, si une pensée de la politique doit nécessairement procéder d’une anthropologie et si, d’autre part, celle-ci doit être conçue comme une anthropologie philosophique ou une anthropologie politique. Question double qui fait d’emblée se rejoindre deux héritages ici centraux : celui d’Hannah Arendt et celui de Pierre Clastres. Et c’est justement en lecture critique de l’occidentalisme des catégories de la première, puis des limites de la conception de l’histoire du second — encore en dépendance de la triade si partagée du préhistorique, de l’anhistorique et de l’historique stricto sensu —, que nous tentons de montrer ici que l’anthropologie politique générale qu’appelait de ses vœux Clastres requiert encore elle-même son fondement dans une anthropologie philosophique , dont le propre ne serait pas la négation des avancées de l’anthropologie scientifique, mais leur reprise depuis une pensée en quête des dimensions ontologiques de l’existence humaine.
