Abstract

Les activités humaines engendrant des conséquences de tous ordres sur les écosystèmes, penser et agir en faveur d’environnements propices au développement durable est évidemment nécessaire. Or les spécificités géographiques des territoires, de nature démographique, économique, organisationnelle ou politique, sont déterminantes quant aux possibilités d’obtenir une gestion soutenable. Comment faire émerger des territoires durables ? L’objectif de ce texte est de présenter, selon quatre branches de la géographie, les enjeux des politiques publiques aux regards des environnements et la nécessité d’innerver de la durabilité dans les territoires.
