La guerre pour quelles frontières ?

Abstract

Parmi les objectifs des guerres, conflit armé entre plusieurs groupes politiques, figure souvent la question des frontières ou de la souveraineté exclusive d’un groupe politique sur un territoire donné. Les guerres victorieuses déplacent ou modifient les frontières. Les guerres sans vainqueur peuvent se terminer par un statu quo frontalier. Au sud Caucase, les guerres du Haut-Karabagh, dont le troisième conflit sanglant entre l’Azerbaïdjan et le Haut-Karabagh éclaté le 27 septembre 2020, s’inscrivent dans cette question frontalière et offrent un exemple saisissant des interactions entre conflit armé et frontières.
