Abstract

Résumé Comment rendre compte objectivement, scientifiquement, d’un fait ? D’un fait clinique ? Les outils ne sont jamais qu’outils de notation, mais dès lors que l’on transmet, dès lors que l’on parle ?... L’auteur s’appuie sur un livre d’Austin, « Quand dire c’est faire ( Speech acts ) », et emprunte les deux notions de dénotatif, description qui se veut scientifique, objective, et performatif, acte de parole d’un sujet, lequel performatif cadre la communication des éléments dénotatifs. L’auteur demande pourquoi sommes-nous tant enclins au dénotatif, à dénoter ? Par ailleurs il évoque les traits qualitatifs, distincts, différentiels, qui permettent dans leur mise en série d’établir une communication scientifique. La mise ensemble judicieuse de qualités amène au concept. Y compris dans la psychanalyse où la singularité du cas emprunte tout de même à une conceptualisation. Suturer le sujet afin que cette dernière soit objective redouble la question lorsqu’il s’agit de scientifiser ce sujet même. L’auteur donne des éléments de réflexion à ce sujet.
