Abstract

Il va s’agir de montrer, à partir d’un exemple précis de transcription et de traduction, que la transcription du séminaire de Lacan est souvent redoutable. Le passage du séminaire qui nous concerne, celui du 10 juin 1964, a affaire au savoir. Il y a en permanence dans l’analyse comme deux sortes de savoirs à l’œuvre. Lacan, me semble-t-il, les distingue en parlant d’un savoir en extension et d’un savoir en intension. Freud savait, mais ce n’était pas forcément de ce savoir qu’était constituée son étoffe de Sujet supposé Savoir (SsS). On peux même dire que si Freud était mis à la place de SsS par ses patients, c’était, très précisément de ce qu’il ignorait; et de ce que chacun d’eux venait lui attribuer en tant que savoir mis à l’œuvre dans sa propre cure.
