Abstract

À la croisée entre modèles spatiaux, scénarios spatialisés et concertation sur l’avenir d’un territoire, la géoprospective donne une importance variable à chacun de ces trois volets. L’article analyse comment la modélisation d’accompagnement fait de la géoprospective et sous quelle forme particulière. La réflexion porte d’abord sur la démarche de modélisation : explication du modèle du domaine, co-construction du modèle conceptuel, définition de scénarios et leur simulation exploratoire. Ensuite sont abordées les questions sur le niveau de réalisme des modèles spatialisés, la prise en compte de différentes échelles d’espace et de temps, et la place du modélisateur et des modèles qu’il propose comme objets intermédiaires entre les acteurs et leur territoire.
